From dog sledding in Norway to overlanding across East Africa, from sailing Europe’s wild coastlines to trekking deep into the Himalayas, adventure has always been at the heart of everything I do.

Today, through Cape Nomad, I bring that global experience home to Southern Africa, crafting personally curated journeys that go far beyond standard sightseeing. I know this region intimately. For many years, I have guided, explored, and lived across Southern and Eastern Africa, turning each route into an immersive experience shaped by local knowledge, hidden gems, and genuine connection to place.

Whether it is slow cooking over an open fire in the bush, leading hikes through dramatic landscapes, or sharing a perfect glass of wine in the Cape Winelands, every detail is guided by passion, experience, and a deep respect for the land and its people.

My background goes beyond guiding. I have run my own food truck in Cape Town, cooked on countless bush expeditions, and built a reputation for combining serious adventure with seriously good food. At Cape Nomad, great meals are not an add on, they are part of the journey. Because unforgettable days deserve unforgettable dinners.

When I am not on the road, I am in the air. I have been paragliding for over seven years and paramotoring for the past two, always chasing new perspectives and fresh ways to experience the landscape. My solo treks through Namibia, Tanzania, Peru, and Ladakh reflect the same philosophy that shapes every Cape Nomad trip: seek authenticity, embrace challenge, and stay curious.
